Ingredients

Serves 4  

  • 500 g pork fillet 
  • 5 Zenzero Fabbri nuggets with syrup 
  • 2 garlic cloves 
  • salt to taste 
  • pepper to taste 
  • 80 g butter (or 60 g extra virgin olive oil) 
  • 1 glass white wine

Preparation

  1. Put half the butter in a pan and brown the meat with the two cloves of garlic. When the meat is browned, season with salt and pepper then deglaze with the wine. Dot the remaining butter over the surface of the meat and transfer the meat to an ovenproof dish. Place in a preheated oven at 230°C. 

  2. Keep the cooking juices from the pan, add the ginger nuggets and mix everything together to create a sauce to be used for basting the fillet in the oven until it is well coloured. 

  3. Remove the meat from the oven, slice it and serve with the cooking sauce. If you wish, you can add some sliced Zenzero Fabbri directly to the serving dish
